I sincerely pray this helps you feel seen, loved and heard. My prayer starts around three minutes.
If you read my previous post of the text of the prayer, you’ll realize that about halfway through this prayer, I deviate from my crafted piece and began to intercede for those broken by sexual abuse. May the Lord Jesus be glorified for all HE has done.
Thank for this moving and powerful prayer, Mary! And, thank you for standing for those who are not yet in a place on their healing journey to stand.
When you deviated from your originally planned prayer I found myself in tears. I have often asked God where He was and why He didn’t prevent or stop my abuse, and have struggled with guilt and shame as a result. Thank you for addressing this. And, thank you for all that you continue do to advocate for survivors of abuse.
I’m so glad it helped, Tina, and I’m very sorry you’ve walked this trail of tears.
